As part of the statewide effort to clear the roadsides of litter, Mike Sheehan, Ed Krebs, Ray Weaver and Pat Krebs spent a morning gathering litter on the roadsides of Gingrich and Lawn Roads in South Londonderry Township. Both of these roads are frequented by bicyclists and when biking, we notice litter much more than those who drive motor vehicles. We don’t think that bicyclists do the littering. Sad to say, Lawn Road was cleaned last year by the same foursome, and yet there was plenty to pick up this year.
